La Recyclerie
La RECyclerie is an interesting example of adaptive reuse of the former urban infrastructure promoting now the circular economy principles.
La RECyclerie opened its doors in June 2014. This remarkable place is located on the northern outskirts of historic Paris, in the former station of the municipal railway loop.
REcyclerie aims to raise public awareness of environmental values in a ludic and positive way.
The place is organized according to the 3 R rule (REDUSE, REUSE, RECYCLE).
La RECyclerie is managed and programmed by the Les Amis REcycleurs association. As part of La RECyclerie, an eco-cultural program is implemented, there is a municipal farm with a restaurant and a René repair shop (L’Atelier de REné).
